It takes two to tango
As good dance partners need to connect, so the partners in a PPP must get to know each other in order to achieve success. And as the tango is a subtle game of looking and looking away, so a PPP requires the right balance between supply and demand among the various stakeholders.
The PPP business unit, PMV-pps, takes initiatives towards achieving public-private partnerships. Its mission is to create sustainable cooperation between the public and the private sectors in order to satisfy the principal infrastructure requirements of Flanders.
Excellence
PMV-pps makes available its expertise to negotiate, prepare and design individual PPP projects, in cooperation with the public initiator. Together, they assume responsibility for the successful realisation of the projects at hand.
Investment
PMV-pps acts as an investor in infrastructure and hence has a common interest in the successful implementation of those projects. After all, it shares in both the return and the risks associated with Flemish PPP initiatives. As an investor, PMV-pps makes available its expertise to facilitate the realisation of public-private infrastructures that are important to the future of Flanders.
