The investment fund KidsInvest is incorporated by PMV, the investment company for Flanders.

The Flanders region is experiencing a mini baby boom. As a consequence, the demand for child care is growing rapidly. Independent centres for child care are able to provide a fast and efficient response to this urgent social need.

To help entrepreneurs set up or expand independent centres for child care, KidsInvest offers subordinated loans at interesting conditions. In order to qualify, entrepreneurs need to provide a solid business and cash plan that demonstrate their future profitability and ability to pay back the loan.

In cooperation with the Flemish government’s Agency for Entrepreneurship (agentschap Ondernemen), KidsInvest is able to offer professional advice to these entrepreneurs when developing their business plan. In that way KidsInvest pushes the sector towards more professionalism.
